Association Advises Athletes On Early Preparations
Secretary of the Rivers
State, Table Tennis Association Tekenah lu-lu Poku, has called on his athletes to take their training more seriously.
Poku stated this on Tuesday in an exclusive interview with Tidesports in Port Harcourt.
According to him, players should be committed to their chosen career and ensure that they prepare adequately ahead of the forth-coming 19th National Sports Festival (NSF).
“I advise them to be in high spirit as they prepare for the “Paradise games scheduled to hold November, this year”, Lulu-Poku said.
He explained that this would enable the players compete favourably, when the Fiesta kick-off later this year in Calabar, Cross Rivers State.
Poku noted that early preparation is the key to success in every competition.
He further said that if motivation and the necessary support is given to the players at the right time, it would certainly bring out the best in the athletes.
