NIWA Gets New Acting MD
The National Inland
Waterways Authority (NIWA) now has a new Acting Managing Director.
He is Mr Danladi Ibrahim until his new appointment, Ibrahim was the General Manager, Legal Services of the authority. He took over from the former Managing Director, Hajiya Maryam Ciroma, who resigned her position recently.
A statement signed by the General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Mr Taiwo Fadice stated that the Acting Managing Director joined the service of NIWA as Principal Manager in 1998 and rose to the rank of General manager until his new appointment.
He attended University of Lagos, where he obtained a degree in Law and a Masters Degree in Public Administration.
Ibrahim hails from Zuru, Kebbi State and is married with children.
He had since assumed office.
