K-11 CC Leads PH Cricket League
K-11 Cricket Club of
Port Harcourt at the weekend overwhelmed their opponents, Whales Cricket Club also of Port Harcourt by 118 runs in the Week Five fixtures of the on-going 2014/2015 cricket league competition.
The match which was played at the University of Port Harcourt cricket ground saw K-11 player, Chinedu Charles, emerge man of the match (MOM).
Charles scored 68 runs in a total of 118 runs scored by his club (K-11) to emerge as the man of the match in the Saturday game.
With this victory, K-11 Cricket Club is now leading the 2014/2015 league table with four points as all other clubs were on two points including K-11 C-C before the Saturday victory.
Meanwhile, Panthers Cricket Club is warming up to devour Benvic Cricket Club of Port Harcourt in the week six fixtures of the cricket league this week.
It would be recalled that Panthers Cricket Club is the defending champions after winning of the 2013/2014 league season.
The venue remains the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), Choba Cricket pitch.
