FRSC Issues 1,324 New Drivers’ Licenses In Osun
Mr Muhammad
Husaini, the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) in Osun, on Tuesday said the commission had issued 1,324 drivers’ licences in the state in November.
Husaini disclosed this in an interview with our corres-pondent in Osogbo.
He said the figure comprised that of new applicants and those upgraded to new ones.
He warned motorists not to patronise touts or middlemen in procuring licenses.
“Drivers’ license procured without bearer’s physical image and bio-data captured by the commission is not authentic,” Husaini said.
He said there were procedures to follow in procuring licenses and upgrading old ones and warned that anybody caught using fake license would be apprehended.
Husaini said that using of fake licences is an offense which contravenes FRSC law.
