Eleven Ships Expected At PH Port
Two vessels, MV
Andromeda and MV Wild Peony that are laden with frozen fish were among the eleven ships expected to berth at the Port Harcourt Port in Rivers State.
This was contained in a Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Daily Shipping Position made available to The Tide correspondent in Port Harcourt, yesterday.
According to report four of the ships are carrying rice in bags and bulk while one is with bulk wheat.
It stated that three ships with rice in bags are MV Asian Wind, MV Bulk Flower and MV Reunion Bay while MV Vega Lea is Ladden with rice in bulk.
The only ship with bulk wheat is MV Altani as MV Ual Gabon is with general goods, while MT Rose Mary and MT Break Through are to shipin Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK).
It was further learnt that three ships, Spar Cetus, Sea Athena and Lord are awaiting at the fairway buoy.
However, ships in Port include MV Bold Voyage, MV Lord, MV Orion Bay, MT Rose Mary, PASAM and MT United Venture.
