Kwambe Happy Over Eagles Return
Sunshine Stars defender,
Solomon Kwambe has told newsmen his hard work has been rewarded with a recall to the Super Eagles.
On Friday, Kwambe was named on a 25-man squad for two crucial AFCON qualifiers against Congo and South Africa later this month.
“I am happy to be back in the Eagles. This was possible due to hard work, dedication to job, determination and I remain focused. Above all, God is by my side,” Kwambe told Tidesports source.
“And now I am back just to do what I know how to do best.”
The right back, who earlier this year underwent trials in the MLS, was part of home-based Eagles who won bronze at CHAN 2014 in South Africa.
His last game for the Super Eagles was a friendly against Italy on November 18, 2013, in London, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
