Yari said the tricycles were bought at a cost of N550 million, while the motorcycles were purchased at a cost of N342.5 million.
The governor urged the beneficiaries to drive safely and obey all traffic rules and regulations.
He said that 200 youths, to be drawn from each of the 14 local government areas of the state, would be trained and engaged in environmental sanitation jobs.
The governor said the state government had also identified 140 youths who had been trained in paint production and would soon be given take-off grants to start their own businesses.
He expressed the state government’s resolve to continue to inculcate self reliance among its youths so that they would become useful members of the society.
