Senator Suleiman

The lawmaker told newsmen in Lafia that the forms would be given to 1,000 less privileged students whose parents could not afford to buy the JAMB forms for the 2013/2014 season.
He explained that 200 students would benefit from each of the five local governments in the senatorial district. They are Lafia, Awe, Keana, Obi and Doma.
According to him , the offer is the second phase of the scheme which commenced last year with 500 students. Adding that apart from the free JAMB registration, six Internet centres were opened across the senatorial district for free WAEC registration.
“The scheme, he said, is expected to assist students to realise their dreams and cushion the financial burden of parents that cannot afford the exams fee.
“Education, which is the life wire for the development of any society, requires the contribution of wealthy individuals for the nation to move forward’’, he said.
