Efe Dreams Of Premiership Move
Nigeria and Celtic defender, Efe Ambrose?has admitted he dreams of playing in the English Premier League.
Ambrose, who joined the Scottish champions last summer, has already been linked with a move to English clubs like Liverpool and Newcastle United following sterling performances for the Glaswegian giants that helped him seal his place as a key member of Neil Lennon’s team.
The 24-year-old former Kaduna United player has admitted that he hopes to step up to the EPL some day, but reiterated that he remains committed to his current employers.
“For me yeah, the Premier League is something I would like in the future and you never know but for now I am only thinking about Celtic and doing my best for them,” Ambrose said.
Celtic recently lost the services of Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama and English striker Gary Hooper to Southampton and Norwich City respectively, but Ambrose is optimistic the club will do succeed without them, even as he expects his former teammates to excel in the Premier League.
“They are good players, and we lost Thomas Rogne to Wigan too, and they are all good players, but Celtic is a team, not just individuals.
