PH Referees Update Stakeholders On New Dev
The Port Harcourt Football Referees Society is set to update the knowledge of its members, coaches, footballers, supporters, sports journalists and other stakeholders on the laws and new developments in the game.
According to chairman of the Society, Mr Dennis Deima (Carica), the society will tomorrow at the Liberation Stadium Port Harcourt hold a workshop for stakeholders on new developments in the game.
He therefore called on all with interest in football development and upgrading personal knowledge to attend the workshop.
Deima said that the game being dynamic, evolves all the time and one needs to keep track of the developments in order not to be left behind.
Among resource persons to deliver lectures and papers are veteran referee, Chief Omineokuma Kile, former chairman of Rivers State Referees Council, Pastor Ben Igwe and FIFA-Graded referee, Anele Innocent Wokoma.
The workshop will equally help participants to be in tune with the game as clubs prepare for the commencement of the new Nigeria Premier league season.
