Eagles To Depart For Liberia September 7
General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF),
Mr Musa Amadu, said that the Super Eagles players would depart Abuja on
September 7 for their Nations’ Cup qualifier against the Liberian national
team.
Amadu told newsmen in Abuja that travel arrangements have
been concluded for the team which would play the first leg, last round, of the
2013 Nations Cup qualifier on September 8.
“We are making arrangement for the team to travel on Friday,
September, 7 by 7am, from Abuja International Airport to Monrovia, Liberia.
“The arrangement we are making is the one that will suite
the team to enable them train on Friday before they play the game on Saturday
and hopefully return to Abuja the next day, “ he said.
The NFA scribe said the players had been motivated to ensure
that Nigeria qualifies for the tournament to be hosted by South Africa in 2013.
