Amaechi Appoints Gininwa New Rulers’ Council Chair
The Governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has approved the appointment of a new chairman for the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers.
He is the Gbenemene of Tai Kingdom, His Royal Magesty, King G. N. K. Gininwa.
According to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. George Feyii, King G. N. K. Gininwa succeeds His Royal Magesty, King T. J. T. Princewill, Amachree XI, the Amanyanabo of Kalabari Kingdom as the 10th chairman of the state Council of Traditional Rulers since its inception in 1983.
