Andoni Students Decry Non-Payment of Bursaries
The National Union of Andoni Students (NUAS) has expressed worry over the non-payment of bursaries to Andoni students.
The National President of the Union, Comrade Geoffrey Attenacious Eneyo, who said this in an interview with The Tide in Port Harcourt, said that the students are not happy with the continuous denial of their bursaries by the scholarship board.
He also said that all efforts made by the union to get the payment for its members were being frustrated by a member of the board.
He further alleged that some of the students who were screened last year for the bursaries have not been paid till date.
Meanwhile, the National Union of Andoni Students (NUAS) has urged for support for its sensitization programme.
The National President of the Union, Mr. Geoffrey A. Eneyo, who said this in an interview with The Tide in Port Harcourt, regretted that the programmes which should have been on by now is being delayed due to lack of support.
He, however, used the occasion to thank the Chairman of Andoni Local Government Council, Hon. Orom Nte, for his support to Andoni students in law school.
