Dolphins Player Risks Disciplinary Action
The management of Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt has declared its midfielder, Abduyehel Ajagun, Absent Without Leave (AWOL) as the player failed to return to camp after his national assignment.
This was made known by the media officer of the club, China Acheru, in a chat with Tidesports in Port Harcourt.
Team Manager of the club, Stanley Eguma, said the management did not know the whereabouts of Ajagun after he played the last match national Under-20 against Mauritus last week.
“He did this the last time by refusing to report to camp after he was freed by the national team coaches and he was done it again now” Eguma said.
According to him, out of the three Dolphins players that played for the Flying Eagles, Ajagun is no where to be found.
“The players Omoh Ojabu and Chidi Osuchukwu that went are all back, the most annoying part is that he (Ajagun) turned off his phone.”
The team manager, continued that the management would impose disciplinary action against any player that did not conduct himself properly.
“We all know that the league would soon resume next week and we need all our players together.”
It would be recalled that Ajagun was once thrown out of Flying Eagles camp for acts of indiscipline but after entreaties on his behalf, he was recalled.
