Pinnick Escapes NFF’s Sanction
Delta State Football Association Chairman, Amaju Pinnick has been handed a warning by the NFF’s Disciplinary Committee after he tendered a written apology over his statement criticising the NFF.
Pinnick had asked the NFF to apologise to the Rivers State government over its handling of the matter involving Sharks Football Club, but faced by the Disciplinary Committee, withdrew his statements, saying he ‘regretted any embarrassment the publication might have caused the NFF and its leadership’ and offered a written apology.
Pinnick was warned to desist from making such statements in the future.
