FIFA 100 Days: Nigeria Faces Portugal
Nigeria may play Portugal in a friendly in South Africa on March 3 as part of events to mark 100 days to the kick-off of the FIFA World Cup.
Tide Sports source understands that organisers of the event, in conjunction with the Local Organising Committee (SALOC), have written to the NFF proposing a game between the Super Eagles and Portugal.
The Executive Committee of the NFF are considering the proposal and expect to make a decision by the end of the African Nations Cup, a top NFF official informed our source.
The game will be part of a series of high-profile activities to mark yet another milestone in the countdown to the first World Cup to be hosted on African soil.
