Amaechi’s Success, Divine – Ikuru
The successes recorded so far by the Governor Chibuike Amaechi’s led administration in education, healthcare, road construction and other areas have been attributed to divine support and the favour of God.
Making this disclosure yesterday at the Super Sunday Service of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Port Harcourt, the State Deputy Governor, Engr. Tele Ikuru urged Christians not to relent in praying for the State.
“We are where we are because of God. The successes we have seen in building primary and secondary schools, hospitals and other areas are due to the help we have received from God,” Engr. Ikuru said, calling on citizens of the state to support the Chibuke Amaechi-led government in its efforts to provide more social amenities.
The State Deputy Governor enjoined religious leaders to pray fervently for their followers and the latter to follow the teachings of their leaders to bring God’s blessings on their lives, pointing out that “it takes the love of God, humility and selflessness to pray for others.”
Earlier in a sermon, the Guest Preacher, Prophet Samuel Abiara, enjoined every individual to appreciate God’s mercies in their lives and make adequate preparations for eternity, saying “God’s mercies call for us to show gratitude,” and warned against indifference to God’s injunctions.
Prophet Abiara, who is also the general Evangelist, CAC Worldwide, explained that “Jesus Christ is real. He came to redeem man and his lost blessings that has been stolen by Satan,” pointing out that “heavenly citizenship is based on relationship with God through His Son,” and advised that “God should take first place in our lives. We should reach out with God’s blessings to others”.
