RSG Floats Skills Acquisition Programme For Rivers Youths
The Rivers State Government is set to float a skill acquisition programme for youths in the 23 local government areas.
The Commissioner for Empowerment and Employment Generation, Mr Moses Ahubele said this during a civic reception organised in his honour by the Edhiwulu family of Abarikpo community in the Ahoada East Local Government Area.
Mr. Ahubele also urged them to eschew vices that are inimical to the progress of the state, as the Amaechi Administration is not leaving any stone unturned to provide employment opportunities for them.
The Commissioner also commended the Abarikpo community for their support to the present administration and urged for the patient with the government.
In their welcome address, the Edhiwulu Royal Family of Abarikpo said that the family has continue to promote unity among the people of Abarikpo and communities in Ekpeye-Kingdom.
The address which was read by Mr. ThankGod Peter also lamented the incessant police arrest and intimidation of members of the family and urged for the provision of loans for the family.
