New Dawn Emerges For Kickboxing
Former Public Relations Officer of Kickboxing Association of Nigeria Sensei Emmanuel Charles has described the new kickboxing federation executive committee led by Mykel Eneduwa new dawn for the sport.
Sensei Charles made this known in a chat with Tidesports in Port Harcourt. He said that the new leadership is a step in the right direction especially for the sport that has suffered leadership tussle.
He admitted that the new board president has both the contact and financial muscle that will see the sport through in the country.
The former PRO, who is also a kickboxing referee called on all Nigerian kick boxers to give the new president a change and “let peace reign as those who have been kickboxing’s detractors are out of the game”.
He noted that it was the present leadership’s connection that made possible the employment of 25 kickboxers into Nigerian police.
“I plead with Nigerian kickboxers to give the new president and his board members a chance. Let peace reign and let us see what he has to offer”, he said.
Charles said the new board appears determined to put smiles on the faces of Nigerian kickboxers, adding that the president is a known figure in the sport both within and outside the country.
