The Youth Leader of Aluu community in Ikwerre Local Government Area, Sir Okwe Gibson has attributed the peace witnessed in his community in recent times to the service of local vigilante called OSPAC.
Okwe also solicited for support and financial assistance for the local vigilante based on the tremendous work they have been doing to keep Aluu safe.
The youth leader made the assertion during the funeral of his late father, pa Solomon Okwe, when he said, played a vital role to the peace and development of Umuike, Aluu Town.
The Ikwerre Local Government council chairman, Hon Samuel Nwanosike, the lawmaker representing Ikwerre Local Government Constituency in the state House of Assembly, Anselem Ogwuogwuo and other personalities were around to pay their last respect to deceased.

He however, appealed to the council authorities to place them on monthly stipend as a way to encourage them to do more.
The chief mourner called on investors to utilize the existing peace and tranquility the OSPAC has brought in the community to invest, describing it as a great testimony to everybody.
Earlier, the Ward 13 Councilor in Ikwerre Local Government Area, his younger brother, Barr. Justice Okwe said the family was elated for the honour done their late father by the people of the state.
