Instructor Tasks NBF On Training For Stakeholders
A boxing instructor
with the National Institute of Sports (NIS), Adegboyega Adeniji-Adele, has charged the President of Nigeria Boxing Federation, Maj. Gen. Kenneth Minimah, to organise periodic seminar for stakeholders.
Adeniji-Adele told newsmen in Lagos that by so doing it would keep the stakeholders abreast with current trends in the sport.
“He should be able to organise periodic seminar, workshop, clinic for coaches, for referees for administrators then there should be a joint stakeholders meeting and conference so that the game can move on as best as possible.
“Also finally the coaches should be sent for periodic seminar and clinic to update their knowledge either abroad or the NIS where they feel they want to send them to, the most important thing is to update their knowledge and their technical skill. ”
The instructor said that regular exposure to capacity building programmes would enable the stakeholders to be more committed to the affairs of the NBF.
