Johnson Plans To Return Dophins On Top
Newly appointed
General Manager of Dolphins Football Club of Port Harcourt, Joe Johnson has pledged to turn the club around in the nearest future.
Johnson, in his first public statement since taking over at the club, said his plan is to return Dolphins to the top where they belong.
“First, I must say I am happy with my new role at the club and I want to say, it is a great pleasure to me to be able to work with a club as big as Dolphins FC.
“I know how ambitious this club is because I have followed them for more than twenty years going through my time as chairman of the Rivers State chapter of the Nigeria Football Supporters’ Club,” Johnson said.
“I have met with the coaches and secretary and I have also see the caliber of players in the team and I want to add that we must succeed administratively for the team to succeed on the pitch and that is what I pledge to do.
“Dolphins must return to the top and all our hands must be on deck to ensure that this happens.”
Johnson was previously chairman of the Rivers State chapter of the Nigeria Football Supporters club and has taken over from Dumbor Awanen who was with the club from 2011 until last week when he was eased off.
