Rwandan League Champions Unveils Ex-Eaglets Odibo
Reigning Rwanda Premier League champions, APR FC has unveiled Nigerian attacker Godwin Odibo.
Odibo was part of the Sporting Lagos team in the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season and despite the club relegation, he was among the players that distinguished themselves who have moved to other clubs.
He was initially scheduled to join Enyimba International before the Rwandan champions came into the picture.
The fleet-footed attacker was unveiled this week and is expected to take part in the CAF Champions League first preliminary round slated for later this month.
Elsewhere, Greek champions PAOK Salonika has announced the arrival of the Nigeria eligible Shola Shoretire on a four -year deal.
Shoretire represented Manchester United last season where he featured in five Premier League games and two Champions League matches but it was deemed not good enough.
Shoretire was born in Newcastle to Nigerian parents and he started his career with academies in Newcastle before joining Manchester United.
The 20-year-old attacker will team up with compatriot William Troost-Ekong, who is already in the team.
