Plug Sports Partners US Advisory, Peace Attain To Promote Adesanya
Plug Sports, the sports management subsidiary of the Plug, yesterday announced that they have entered into an agreement with United State-based Chosen Advisory, and New Zealand- based Attain Peace Sports Management, to provide commercial services to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) former middleweight world champion, Israel ‘The Last Stylebender’ Adesanya. Adesanya becomes the first mixed-martial artist to join the agency’s illustrious lineup of serviced athletes in Nigeria, which already boasts household names like Asisat Oshoala, Henry Onyekuru, Tobi Amusan, Uchenna Kanu, and Michelle Alozie.
Working closely with Adesanya and his team to maximise his potential outside of the octagon, the agency will be tasked with securing endorsement deals in Africa, managing media interactions in Africa, and facilitating networking opportunities to ensure his career progression and holistic success within the region.
Regarding his new relationship with Plug Sports, Adesanya said:
“I am thrilled with this new partnership, which allows my existing management to work with Plug Sports and increase our footprint in Nigeria and Africa at large. I look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead, and returning to Nigeria to see my people very soon.”
For Plug Sports, the move underscores its unrivaled excellence in nurturing talent across various sports disciplines. As the agency continues to expand its arsenal of top-tier athletes, the partnership with Chosen Advisory to work with a global star like the 34-year-old Adesanya symbolises the agency’s steadfast pursuit of cultivating an exceptional roster that is on par with other renowned agencies across the world.
“We take immense pride in announcing our collaboration with Israel Adesanya, under the partnership of Plug Sports, Attain Peace Sports, and Chosen Advisory,” said Lanre Vigo, Head of Plug Sports.
