Monarch Proffers Solution To Banditry, Kidnapping, Others

The Eze Ogba Iji-Nu-Ede, Eze Temple N. Ejekwu, Nye Nwe Eli Rumuogba, has said that, if fathers could imbibe the culture of strengthening family virtues as enacted by God, crimes like banditry, Kidnapping and even Boko Haram will become history.
Ejekwu said this in his palatial address during the 2022 Fathers’ Day celebration at his palace in Rumuogba in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area on Sunday .
The Monarch maintained that the even the growing Yahoo Plus saga will belong to history, even fathers could rise to the occasion and imbibe the culture of godliness and unity in the family.
“So, we as fathers, as we celebrate Father’s Day today, let’s go back to our various homes and be the true head, not by might but by imbibing the culture of unity and godliness in our families”, he said.
He was of the view that the culture so imbibed, would have pushed the general public beyond crime level, because they were brought up in the way of the Lord.
The traditional ruler who is also a trained lawyer, called on fathers not to be only family heads, but should back such headship with unifying character traits.
“We should work truly hard in uniting our families, bringing up our children in the way of the Lord so that when they grow up, they will not depart from it”, he said.
He further advised them to see themselves as partners in the move to tackle the moral decadence facing the society.
The Rumuogba Monarch, maintained that the issue of global peace was everyone’s duty, thus no stone should be left unturned at any point.
According to him, since charity is believed to emanate from the home, it will be profitable to ensure that such culture was carried beyond the family level.
He also used the forum to praise the Governor of Rivers State, Chief (Barr) Nyesom Wike over the improved security state of the state.
He called on all security operators in the state to continue in the pursuit to maintain peace and added that no society thrives in crisis.
