Super Eagles Can Rise Above AFCON Performance – NFF Scribe
General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, has stated that the Nigeria men’s football national team has the capacity to easily rise above the team’s performance at the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations ahead of next month’s crucial World Cup qualifying double header against Ghana’s Black Stars.
Sanusi speaking in a chat with Tidesports source stressed that the AFCON showed the Super Eagles with a lot of promise and despite the number of quality players who were missing and few new players who showed relevance.
He added that the team is good enough to secure the much-coveted ticket for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
