Ozuzu Football Competition: President Tasks Youths On Football Career
The President General of the Ozuzu Football Competition in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State, Comrade Sampson Amadi, has urged Rivers youths to choose sports, especially football, as their profession.
He stated that football today is a lucrative business all over the world.
Comrade Amadi, who is also the proprietor of the Mirioma FC of Umunachi Community in the area, said this last Saturday shortly after Mirioma FC defeated Tumbler FC of Ojia 4-1 in the ongoing Ozuzu Soccer Competition at the State School Field in Ozuzu.
According to him, he was encouraged by the victory and urged them to take sports especially football as a career.
“Rivers youth should take the issue of sports especially football as their second profession.
“I am encouraged with the victory today, keep it up because football is a very lucrative business all over the world today,” Comr Amadi said.
The football championship was sponsored by the Etche-born business mogul, Sylvester Nwala.
