NPFL: Rivers United Striker Optimistic To Win League Title
Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt striker, Shedrack Oghali, said he will do all that is within his powers to ensure that his team won Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title this season.
According to him, with the team’s current impressive performance he has no doubt they are going to get good results from the remaining matches of the season, adding that their target is to win the title and qualify for the continental game.
Oghali said this on Wednesday in an exclusive interview with Tidesports, after they defeated Plateau United 3-1 in NPFL match day 30 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
“Our utmost target is to win the league this football season.
“Surely, we are going to get good results before the league ends,” Oghali said.
He explained that they will take the next match very serious because all games are important now.
“I feel great, but I am looking forward to the next game,” he stated.
The striker pointed out that the Pride of Rivers has one of the best technical crews in NPFL.
