Two Super Falcons Players Pull Out Of USA Tour
The duo of Halimatu Ayinde and Patricia George, have pulled out of Super Falcons 2021 Summer invitational tour holding in Texas, United States of America next week.
Sweden-based midfielder, Halimatu Ayinde, picked up a knee injury while playing for her Eskilstuna FC against Hackens.
Patricia George, on the other hand, also suffered an ankle injury, but her club, Sands FC is yet to confirm how long she will be out.
Head Coach, Randy Waldrum is now left with 23 players on his roaster and it remains unclear if he will name possible replacements.
The Super Falcons will kick start the tournament against Jamaica at BBVA Stadium in Houston on June10, before facing Portugal for three days.
The team will then proceed to face hosts, USA at the home of the new Major League Soccer Club Austin FC, on 16 June.
