2023: PDP Yet To Zone Presidency – Chieftain

The immediate past National Vice-Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in charge of the South-West geopolitical zone, Dr Eddy Olafeso, says the party has not taken any decision to zone the presidency to any part of the country for the 2023 elections.
Olafeso, who is contesting the April 10 zonal election of the party to retain his seat, told our correspondent in an interview on Friday that it was too early to rush into such a decision.
Asked which zone the 2023 presidential election would be zoned to, Olafeso said, “We are rallying our people towards the 2023 elections, but our decision on zoning has to be on a par with other zones.”
