Go Round FC Announces 25-Man Squad
Veteran defender and long throw specialist, Chile Azu is part of a list of 25 players that will wear the colours of Go Round FC, Omoku in the coming football season.
Chile joins 15 others who were with the team last season and have decided to remain in Omoku to play for the prestigious club.
The returning players are Chile Azu, Otega Akaba, Uchenna Ezeala, Onyedikachi Ugwu, Chizoba Uwandu, Tobi Ishola, Obilor Valentine and Oyetoro Elijah.
Others are Chukwuladi Ekene, Akinwale Ogun-jobi, George Vincent, Chidi Eke and Gift Nwokeke.
Completing the list of sixteen returning players are Emmanuel Anibo, Chinedu Eche and Arthur Nwaonumah.
Nine newly acquired players will take the squad list to twenty five for the new season’s campaign.
Meanwhile, General Manager of the club, Soni Uboh, has assured the founder/ financier of the club, Felix Obuah, that the club will return to the NPFL at the end of the season.
“We have prepared well, retained the right players, and brought in the best we could lay our hands on. So, I believe we can make a push for it and achieve it,” Uboh said.
