The Secretary to Rivers State Government, Dr Tammy Danagogo has described Governor Nyesom Wike as a courageous leader whose unfaltering stand for justice and equity for all has continued to add value to the establishment and growth of democracy in Nigeria.
The Secretary to the State Government stated this in Government House, Port Harcourt, as he joined other Nigerians to send birthday felicitations to the governor, who will celebrate his birthday, today.
While congratulating the governor, Danagogo observed that Wike has successfully carved a niche as an exceptional leader who has made a great impact in the development and growth of Rivers State and the nation.
“Governor Wike’s passion and desire to serve the people has brought tremendous transformation in the well-being of the people. His quest for effective leadership and development of the state singles him out as a beacon of hope for all Rivers people. His wisdom and acumen in the management of resources is exemplary.
“As a governor and a frontline national opinion leader, he has continued to push for peace and fair electoral processes that will promote socio-economic cum political development of Nigeria. His stance on good governance in the country marks him as a cornerstone for the survival of our democracy,” he said.
The SSG prayed that God Almighty will continue to abide with him and grant him good health and long life.

HoS Hails Fubara Over Provision of Accommodation for Permanent Secretaries

The Head of Service (HoS) of Rivers State, Dr. Mrs. Inyingi S. I. Brown, has commended Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, for approving befitting accommodation for Permanent Secretaries in the state.

According to the Head of Service, Governor Fubara has continued to demonstrate uncommon commitment to the welfare of civil servants in Rivers State, stressing that such gestures underscore his people-oriented leadership style.
