Eaglets’ Preparations Excite NFF
First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Barr. Seyi Akinwumi on Monday visited the training ground of the National U-17 Golden Eaglets team and expressed happiness towards the whole arrangement of the players.
Akinwumi told Tidesports source in an interview that he is very happy to see how the players are eager and willing to express themselves on the pitch.
“I’m very happy to have come and see the future U17 and U15 players, they have all grown in their football capabilities and strength, these are the type of things we have been craving for,’ he said.
“There are others that are not here yet, that have not gotten to play, yes, we like the competition because it’s not everyone that went to Tanzania for the junior AFCON that can be featured.
“There is a massive competition now, everyone is fighting for shirt unlike before where someone will impose a player for selection” He concluded.
