Falconets ’Il Beat Spain,’ Morrow – Coach
The head coach of Future Stars Football Club of Port Harcourt, Harcourt Uche says the Falconets of Nigeria will defeat Spain in the quarter final at the ongoing Under 20 Female World Cup in France.
Uche made the assertion on Monday in an exclusive interview with Tidesports shortly after Falconets qualified in the group D to play Spain in the quarter final of the competition.
The Falconets played a one all draw against their China counterpart in Dinan-Lehon France on Monday.
Falconets are in group D alongside Germany, Haiti and China.
Uche stated that the Falconets fought hard to qualify in their group because their opponent scored their goal in the 41st minutes in the first half of the match, adding that it was a good game to draw against China.
He explained that Nigeria Falconets needed a draw to secure quarter a final ticket in their group, saying that Falconets were lucky to equalise after stoppage time.
“Thanks to Ajibade who scored the equaliser”, he said.
Also speaking, a football fan and supporter of the Nigeria Falconets, Innocent Godgift, said, the falconets needed to improve because the Spanish were very good in goal scoring.
Godgift advised the Falconets, head coach, Christopher Musa, to work on the strikers to score goals, adding that with their current form they can win Spain in the quarter final match tomorrow.
