Ayangburen Baseball, Softball Championships Hold, Aug
The Baseline Foundation says it has concluded plans to stage the second edition of the Ayangburen U-13 Baseball and U-17 Softball Championships in Lagos.
The foundation’s Director, Magnus Ike, told newsmen in Lagos, that the competition would hold from August 14 to August 19 at Igbobi College, Yaba.
Ike said that the competition which is to be held in honour of the Traditional Ruler of Ikorodu Town, Oba Kabiru Shotobi, to mark his second year on the throne, would feature teams and clubs from six states and the FCT.
The states are Lagos, Oyo, Ondo, Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa.
“This competition is to felicitate with the Oba of Ikorodu, who is the grand patron of the foundation, and to discover budding talents.
“This year’s edition will be more interesting and competitive because more clubs and teams have already shown interest.
