Nigeria’s topflight record
top-scorer Jude Aneke has joined Spartak Semey of Kazakhstan after ending his nightmarish spell with Al Masry of Egypt.
The Nigeria international joined Al Masry in 2012 but never really settled in as a result of the violent crises in Egyptian football which led to the cancellation of the League.
The player also had a running battle with the club over unpaid wages, but reprieve came his way after Fifa cancelled his contract with the Egyptian club, thus allowing him to join Spartak Semey.
Aneke set a top scoring record in 2012 after he scored 20 goals while on the books of Kaduna United.
He later joined Warri Wolves but moved to Egypt shortly after.
