…Nigeria, Botswana Battle On May 22
Nigeria’s U-15 team
has been paired with hosts Botswana in the African Youth Games which is scheduled to run from May 22-31 in Gaborone.
They would open their campaign against Botswana on Thursday before battling other Group A rivals DRC and Tanzania on May 25 and 27 respectively.
Group B is comprised of Mali, South Africa and Swaziland, while Gabon has withdrawn from the event.
The top two teams to emerge from the groups will proceed to the semi-finals, while the final of the competition will be played at the Botswana National Stadium on 31 May.
