NVBF Anticipates Vibrant League Season
The Vice-President of the
Nigerian Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Ebenezer Morakinyo, has said that the federation was anticipating a vibrant start to the forthcoming Nigerian Volleyball League.
Morakinyo told newsmen in Lagos that the federation was waiting for the go-ahead from the committee that was set up to oversee the organisation of the league.
The federation has, consequently, set up a four-man committee to recommend the appointment of monitors for the Volleyball league.
He said that the start of the league would mean an active year for the federation.
“We have been preparing for the league.
“We are just waiting for the go-ahead, although there is no fixed date yet but it’s going to be a busy year for us.
“And the committee is still deliberating on important issues that concern the commencement of the league.’’
Morakinyo added that sponsorship would go a long way in making the league to attain world-class level.
“Everything revolves around the sponsorship and approach of stakeholders and supporters of volleyball.
“If much can be invested into the league then we look forward to having an exciting league,’’ he added.
