More Trouble For Alison-Madueke As Reps Probe Jet Logs

There appears to be
more trouble for the Petroleum Resources Minister,Diezani Alison-Madueke as the  travel logs of the chartered jet are now in possession of members of the House of Representatives.
The development is pursuant to the decision of the House to probe an alleged N10billion the minister spent on the plane.
The Tide gathered that the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN); Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) and the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), will be called in to tender similar documents.
Sources also informed that the log shows trips to China, South Africa, United States and United Arab Emirates.
According to the log, the average cost of a trip on the jet was about $300,000 while one of the parastatals in the aviation industry maintains the jet with $500,000 per month.
A source revealed that the   probe by the House was as a result of painstaking efforts by some lawmakers who secured the travel logs of the minister to and from Nigeria in the last one year.
