… Advocates Self-Reliance At FLP Forum

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Engr. Tele Ikuru, says that the business strategies and network marketing and product distributuion scheme of the Forever Living Products Nigeria Limited (FLP) provides a leeway to economic self-reliance and good health.

Engr. Ikuru said this weekend during an FLP Business Opportunity Dinner at the Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt.

Encouraging people of the State to take advantage of the opportunity provided by the company to improve their living standards, the Deputy Governor explained that the business had uplifted the economic status of many households in other parts of Nigeria and several other countries, calling on both the employed and unemployed to engaged in the business.

He stated that “leadership is about identifying with the problem of the people and being able to touch lives positively,” saying the FLP business is a sure way to accomplish this, as it presents itself as a self-employment and poverty eradication programme. He said that the benefits afforded his wife by the business was an eye opener for him and informed his decision to host prospective and present members of the FLP family.

Earlier in his keynote address, guest speaker at the dinner, Dr. John Ekperigin of the College of Education, Warri Campus, Delta State University, Abraka, noted that the most pressing needs of Nigerians, which are excellent health and wealth creation, are fully addressed in the FLP business packages. He however, regretted that most Nigerians allow their health to be undermined by their work, stressing that FLP products are here to provide alternative health and wellness opportunities for them.

He said the business opportunities provided by FLP constitute the panacea to the harsh economic climate in the country, and advised people to use FLP anti-oxidants, food supplements and other FLP products, asserting that they are better alternatives to most drugs which have side-effects. He also said that those who engage in the business would grow their wealth, achieve good health and enjoy oversea tours sponsored by the company.

In her welcome address, the wife of the Deputy Governor, Dr. Mina Ikuru, described the FLP business as a fight against poverty and ill-health, urging people to join forces with her in the fight.

Dr. Ikuru, who is a Senior Manager of FLP in Rivers State, said that the business is focused on transforming lives, and urged Nigerians especially those living in Port Harcourt to take advantage of the self-employment opportunities FLP provides. She noted that the business enables people to achieve financial freedom and good health.
