The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, (ONELGA),  Rivers State, Hon. Felix Okoro Ejechi, has called on all PDP faithfuls  in the area, as well as the good people of ONELGA to rally round the new Caretaker Committee (CTC) of the council led by Barr. Andrew Ugwuorah to move the area forward.

Speaking recently with newsmen in his office in Omoku, Hon. Ejechi urged the people of the area to put the situation that led to the dissolution of the elected council behind them and forge ahead as one indivisible family.

He harped that peace is the panacea for development, stating that what the local government area needs now is development.

He therefore enjoined all aggrieved persons to bury their hatchets as to strengthen the bonds of brotherliness in the area.

Meanwhile, the PDP chieftain has called on members of the Caretaker Committee to work for the peace and development of the area.

He prayed for God’s Divine wisdom and guidance upon the CTC chairman and his team, to ensure they give the people good governance.

Hon. Ejechi thanked the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for constituting the Caretaker Committee for the continuation of the administration and hoped that the committee would join his giant strides in the development of Rivers State.

He enjoined him to continue to remain courageous and focused in his task of developing the state and prayed for the speedy recovery of President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua.
