Determination, Hardwork Reasons For Dolphins’ Victory – Coach
Port Harcourt side, Dolphins FC’s 2-1 victory over Niger Tornadoes FC of Niger State last weekend has been attributed to commitment and hardwork.
The team manager of the club, Stanley Eguma said this in an exclusive interview with Tidesports shortly after the match in Port Harcourt.
He stated that the match was a tough one but that the team won out of determination and total commitment on the part of the players.
“We thank God that we won the match, because it was not easy to come from behind to win a match.
“Even though the players worked hard, God was really on our side, otherwise we would have lost the game”, he said.
According to Eguma, the technical crew did a lot of work on the players to raise their game, saying that the team vowed not to lose any match” because they have conceived an ambition to play continental”.
Eguma commended his players for the courage and determination exhibited in the match and urged them to keep the tempo.
He also used the forum to call on all fans to support the club, saying that a time has come for fans of a particular club not only critising but also finding solutions to how to improve the team.
He thanked the supporters club over their support since the beginning of the season, saying that, “your support is immeasurable”.
