Fulham Targets Kalu Uche
Premier League outfit Fulham have made an offer to Primera Division club Almeria for Kalu Uche according to reports.
Apparently, the Cottagers are looking to land the 26-year-old with a bid of €2.5 million (£2.2million).
It is unknown whether Almeria are willing to let the 5ft 10in forward leave the Estadio del Mediterraneo this summer, but it seems that the player is keen on a move to England.
“To play for Fulham is a sensational prospect for me,” Uche is quoted as saying.
The 14-time capped Nigeria international, who has found the back of the net twice for the Super Eagles, began his career with Enyimba FC, before moving to Iwuanyanwun Nationale and Espanyol.
In 2001, he joined Polish club Wisla Krakow and scored ten goals in 51 games before arriving at French team Glrondlns de Bordeaux on loan in the 2004-05 campaign.
Uche has been with Almeria since 2005, and to date he has scored 23 goals in 112 appearances.
