PDP Support Groups Get New Chairman In Rivers
About 112 coalition of Peoples Democratic Party support groups in Rivers State have endorsed Sir Hon Edwin Ibanichuka as its new chairman.
The endorsement follows a vote of no confidence passed on the former chairman of the coalition during a meeting at the state secretariat of the People Democratic Party (PDP) at Aba Road, Port Harcourt.
A cross section at the meeting said the new chairman was chosen based on his track round, stressing that he was what it takes to lead the party to victory come 2023.
Speaking, a member of the coalition, Hon Henry Abraham, said Hon Ibanichukuka has the competence to reward hard work as for as the party is concerned.
Also speaking, the public relations officer of the coalition, Comrade Meija God knows described the meeting as a bag success, stressing that it shows the love of Rivers people to the Peoples Democratic Party and Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike.
He also urged them to continue to give their full and unflinching support to the People Democratic Party (PDP) and the Administration of Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike.
