Cleric Tasks Teachers On Hard Work
The Presiding Pastor of Reformers Exploit Ministry, Prophet Solomon Ebizimor, has urged teachers in Rivers State to be hardworking and dedicated to their duties in order to raise the standard of education in the state.
Ebizimor who gave the advice while speaking with teachers of Expoit Academy Nursery Primary School, Borokiri, Port Harcourt, said the importance of education to societal development cannot be over-emphasised, hence, his call in that direction.
Speaking to The Tide, he said his meeting with teachers in the school was aimed at discussing the way forward on how to improve on the school’s standard of education.
Ebizimor called on the teachers to be punctual in school in order to impart positive knowledge to the pupils.
He urged teachers to continue to initiate good policies and programmes in order to increase pupils’ enrolment in schools, and improve the standard of education.
“Governor Nyesom Wike is doing his best in uplifting the standard of education in the state. He has commissioned the Government Secondary, School, Ubima.
”So, it is in view of this that I want to call on teachers to be hardworking and dedicated to their duties so as to complement government efforts to improve the standard of education in the state,” he said.
Ebizimor also called on parents and guardians to give topmost priority to the education of their children and wards for societal development.
Also speaking, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Deinma Koko, assured of her continued determination to create an enabling environment for teaching and learning in the school.
Responding, Mr. Waribo Goodluck, the Education Secretary (ES) of the school’s Parents, Teachers Association (PTA), assured that teachers in the school would continue to be dedicated to their duty.
