2019 Triennial Delegates Conference: AIPS President, Three Ex-SWAN Presidents Arrive PH
SWAN President, Honour Sirawoo took AIPS President, Mitchell Obi, three ex-SWAN Presidents and visitors to inspect venue of the triennial conference at the Rivers State House of Assembly Complex in Port Harcourt yesterday.
The city of Port Harcourt since Saturday has been bustling as visitors from all over the country are arriving for the 2019 Sports Writers Association of Nigerian (SWAN) Triennial Delegates conference, billed to be declared open by the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike on Monday.
Spotted among early arrivals are immediate past SWAN President, Alhaji Saidu Abubakar and two other ex Presidents, Olu Amadason and Steve Alabi.
Also spotted, was the AIPS President, Mitchell Obi as well as chairmen and secretaries from all over the country.
In his characteristic manner, SWAN President,, Honour Sirawoo has accorded the visitors a warm reception, which saw them eat breakfast with him at his Port Harcourt residence.
He assured of a hitch free conference, while expressing optimism that the Triennial conference will position the association for greater heights.
