Rivers Angels Tackle Taraba Queens In PH, ’Morrow
Rivers Angels FC of Port
Harcourt would play host to their Taraba State counterparts in one of the week 15 fixtures of the on-going 2014 women Football League.
The match which is expected to be a thriller is expected to have the Angles put up a good performance so as to strengthen their position on the league chart.
Angels who are yet to play a match since the commencement of the second stanza of the league due to the absence of some key players in the team said they were determined to secure the three points at stake in the match.
According to Captain of the team, Lucky Atu, the team is prepared to play good football adding that they would go all out to achieve victory to further fortify their position in the league.
However, the visitors would not give in easily to their hosts.
They seem ready to go for broke and target the spoils of the encounter.
The Angels are presently top of the league table with 24 points from 10 matches, despite not playing a game yet in the second stanza of the 2014 women league. Four outstanding fixtures await the Angels, which could see them further extend their lead.
