Echiejile: ‘World Cup Will Help Players’ Careers’
Elderson Echiejile
has stated that a good outing in this summer’s World Cup will reflect positively on the careers of the players.
The 25-year-old, who is a favourite to make Stephen Keshi’s final 23-man squad, made this assertion in a recent TV documentary.
“A good performance at Brazil 2014 will help our various careers, “Echiejile said on a special programme.
The player stated that with the calibre of players in the current National Team set-up, he expects the Super Eagles to do enough to impress Nigerians.
“It’s a great honour to represent Nigeria and it could not be any bigger to do that the World Cup. We have a great players and will hope to make millions of Nigerians happy with our performance at the World Cup,” Echiejile said.
