Bony Emerges Top Scorer In Dutch League
Vitesse Arnhem striker, Wilfried Bony has ended the season as the top scorer in the Dutch top flight.
The 24-year-old Ivory Coast international notched 31 goals in 32 league games, helping his side to finish fourth in the Eredivisie.
Bony’s goal haul included two hat-tricks, against Heerenveen and Heracles , and a run where he scored 15 goals over 10 consecutive matches.
He has hit 51 goals in 66 games since signing from Sparta Prague in 2011.
Bony, who cost Vitesse a bargain £4m, is being tracked by the biggest clubs in Europe, including English Premier League sides Chelsea and West Ham.
The player himself told Tidesports source earlier this month that he thinks a move to England would be “perfect”.
“I’m very interested in the Premier League and the atmosphere in England, it’s a wonderful league and we will see what happens,” he said.
