NUJ Begins Sale Of Scholarship Forms
Rivers State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ),
has commenced the sale of forms for the Prince Emma Anyanwu Foundation
Scholarship for journalists in the state.
In a statement signed by Secretary, Prince Emma Anyanwu
Foundation for Rivers Journalists, Mr. Olalekan Ige, indicates that the sale of
forms began from August 6th and would close August 20, 2012, adding that the
application forms can be obtained from the office of NUJ Council Secretary at
the NUJ temporary office, The Tide Newspaper Complex at the cost of N1,000
only.
He further stated that the scholarship is in three
categories which include post graduate, under graduate and information and
communication technology (ICT) programmes, adding that the awards are only
applicable to recognise schools, colleges and higher institutions in Nigeria.
The statement added that only members of the Rivers NUJ who
have paid their professional fees up to date are eligible to apply for the
scholarship.
